Live/Work Studios/ Galleries

Hello, being an artist, I've found that there are no outlets to display my art work locally. Also, as my projects have expanded mediums, I'm finding that using my home as a studio has become impractical. Does anyone have any ideas or locations where fresh art could be displayed and/or created. It would be nice if it was downtown by the parks, and at street level so people walking by could enjoy art being displayed or even watch it being created. I currently have a few paintings on display at Promising Projects, Ste 900, 201 W Wall St, Midland - (432) 618-0705.

Re: Live/Work Studios/ Galleries

Thanks for your post!   I am chair of the Arts task force for Vision 2020, and I am really interested in the issue you raised about studio space.  This is one of many subjects we are currently addressing in our meetings, and I love your ideas about artists creating/displaying work downtown. Thanks for the input, and in the meantime, I will contact you if anyone in our group is aware of some available space for you.  Kathy Schorr
