From the early days of Midland's downtown hotels and tall office buildings to the Chap Center and Midland College to today's new Airport Terminal and the Scharbauer Sports Complex, Midland has always believed in our future and stretched our imaginations in order to prepare for our facility needs.  The Facilities Task Force will obviously focus on the future of our community's facility needs for the next decade.  We will dream, anticipate, imagine, discuss, and project our needs as well as our desires.  We will attempt to take a strong look at the various public and private facility needs such as health care, education, business, cultural, sports, recreation, economic development, housing, arts, transportation, and health and social services.  And this is just the beginning.  There should be no limit as we study the various facility opportunities that awaits us in the the decade.
